CEE Kerala invites students for option registering
 
The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) is about to open application window for Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Courses (KEAM) entrance examination 2017 today.

Shortlisted students of counselling round can apply at the official website to further their applications.

As per the reports, based upon the choices made and vacancy available, the first phase of allotment result is expected to be published on or after July 30. 

KEAM 2017was successfully carried out on April 24 and 25 for a total of 160,000 appeared students who registered for the KEAM 2017 across 307 centres spread over Kerala, Delhi, Mumbai and Dubai. 

Organizing body, CEE has recently released rank list for qualified candidates of KEAM who appeared for engineering and pharmacy courses under KEAM.

As many as 61,716 students made it to the engineering rank list which included 32,036 boys and 29,680 girls. The interested students can check their result and apply for option registration at the official website i.e. cee-kerala.org/cee.kerala.gov.in.

KEAM results 2017, here’s how to apply for option registration

Visit the official website

Click on the link that says KEAM 2017.

Click on the option registering link

Provide the details as required in the fields provided.

Submit the details after verification

Obtain a hard copy for further reference.


The students applying for the option registering are required to visit the official
website in time and fill in all the details as required by the system. The seats to be
allotted will be picked from the options registered by the students. Hence the students
are advised to carefully fill in their options.

The counselling will be conducted in multiple steps in order to completely fill all the
vacant seats in each institute. The students will be provided with list of all the
available combinations between the institutes and offered branches. The option
registering is done in the following stages.

Choice Filling

The students should fill in their desired choices in order of their priority with more
desirable combination being above than less desirable combination. Also, while filling
the students are advised to safely provide number of choices so that they be allotted
any one of one.

Choice Locking

Once the process is completed, and student has verified the choice entered, they can
lock their seats in order to tell the system that they are done with their choice filling
and this is the final list.

Seat Allotment Process

The students successfully securing seat in any one of the college will be issued a seat
allotment letter. The letter is a provisional yet mandatory document which should be
produced at the time of admission process at the allotted institute 2 days in which the
students are required to report at the institute with all the mandatory document failing
which their admission will be revoked and their claim to the allotted seat will be
considered invalid.

Documents to be produced during Admission

The students appearing for admission process must bring all the documents as
mentioned below. Failure to produce any of the document will may result in the
cancellation of their candidature.

1) Class X Marksheet

2) Class XII Marksheet

3) KEAM 2017 Admit Card

4) KEAM 2017 Score Card

5) KEAM 2017 Seat Allotment Letter

6) Admission Fee

7) Multiple passport size colored photograph

8) Photo id issued by the govt of India

The students are advised to stay calm and reserved during the whole process and
should maintain the decorum of the process.
