5 People Who Couldn't Clear IIT JEE but Made Their Country Proud

In the past five years, number of students appearing for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) has gone up from 12 lakh to 14lakh. Undergraduate engineering seats in IIT’s altogether are 10,000. We see a huge gap between students who finally make up to the IIT’s and those who could not.

JEE Main Result were declared on 27th April 2017. Around 2 lakh students qualified for JEE Advanced which is a gateway to IITs. Results of JEE Advanced were declared on 11th June 2017. Those who cleared, got into IIT’s and what about those who could not?

In our country a lot of parents want to send their kids to the IITs for bright future prospects that “Brand IIT” has come to represent. Moreover, it is a quest of pride. “Brand IIT” brings with itself an unquestionable sense of repute for students, their parents, their extended family, their teachers and professors, their neighbors, their friends: mainly everyone they had ever been associated with.

After so much of rigorous efforts, sacrifices, aspirations when the results do not turn up your way it is natural to feel disheartened. But can life come to standstill in late teens or early 20’s? Coming out of this monotony of failing IIT and gearing up for a new direction in life is much tougher than cracking IIT. People who are able to do this are in no way behind than IITians.
