(Jan 9, 2017, DG): Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal was asked a tricky question during an interview in a Kerala based news channel. The anchor sought the actor's personal opinion on the controversial move by Kerala's BJP unit against film maker Kamal.
Interestingly, Mohanlal dodged the querry and expressed his ‘inability to comment on the particular issue’ as he was abroad when the incident took place. However, on a lighter note, he said: "Certain things are meant to happen to some people in certain situations. Maybe, this is what happenned in Kamal’s case".
BJP workers had taken out a protest march to the residence of Kamal on December 15, accusing him of supporting people who are against the idea of playing India's National Anthem in cinema halls. Later, BJP leader AN Radhakrishnan asked Kamal to move to Pakistan after calling him a traitor.
