Sex CD leak: Hardik Patel calls it 'dirty politics'

(NEW DELHI, Nov 13, 2017):Campaigning in the upcoming Gujarat Legislative Assembly election is at its peak. Amid intensifying allegations and counter-allegations between political parties, a sex CD featuring Patidar leader Hardik Patel was leaked on Monday.

In the video CD, Hardik can be seen in an hotel room with a woman. The CD sparked off a furore in the political corridors after it was telecast on local news channels. Hardik has blamed the BJP for leaking the tape. Taking to Twitter, he lambasted the saffron party for its "dirty politics".

The Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader declared that had it been him in the video, he would have accepted it wholeheartedly.

"Dirty politics has begun now. Defame me all you want, it makes no difference to me. But this is an insult to the women of Gujarat," he tweeted.

Interestingly, Hardik had predicted that an explicit CD of him might surface ahead of the polls. According to media reports, the video was shot on May 16 this year.

Ashwin Sankarsariya, who uploaded the video on Youtube, said," I got to know about the video while in Bangkok."

He added that apart from Hardik, he also has CDs featuring the PAAS leader's colleagues.

Following the news about the leak of the sex CD, Hardik said, "I'd said this before that first, these people released Sanjay Joshi's CD when he was on the rise. BJP has done this before and will continue doing this even in the future. The people of Gujarat need to be aware that these poeple can use any woman in their greed for power."
