Bar bribery case: High Court criticizes Vigilance

(Kochi, Sep 13, 2017, DG): The Kerala High Court today harshly criticized the Vigilance in connection with the bar bribery case against former UDF Minister K M Mani.

The court's single bench ordered the vigilance to produce new evidence within two weeks. The court's criticism came while considering the veteran politician's plea demanding cancellation of the case.

Mani had approached the court questioning the investigation that is proceeding without any evidence. Earlier, vigilance SP R Sukesan had submitted a report at the vigilance court giving clean chit to Mani.
