HC postpones hearing of Dileep's bail plea

(Kochi, Jul 17, 2017, DG):The high court has postponed the hearing on Dileep’s bail plea. It will be considered on Thursday.

Dileep had approached the high court alleging that his arrest was based on suspicion and there are no clear evidence for his involvement in the crime.

The Angamaly judicial first class magistrate court had earlier rejected the actor's bail plea. The prosecution had opposed the plea saying it could lead to serious consequences as the powerful actor will try to destroy evidences and harass the attacked actress further.

Dileep had reportedly received a legal advice that he should get a bail before his manager Appunni lands in police net. Appunni is currently absconding.
