Finally, 'Ramaleela' gets a release date

(Sep 13, 2017, DG): Actor Dileep's latest movie 'Ramaleela' is finally ready to hit silverscreens on September 28. The movie produced by 'Pulimurugan' fame Tomichan Mulakuppadam was earlier scheduled for a July 8 release.

Unfortunately, Dileep got arrested for his alleged role in the actress attack case and the release was postponed. The movie's producer wanted 'Ramaleela' to release only after the hero's release from jail.

Later, various courts rejected Dileep's bail applications three times. This scenario has prompted 'Ramaleela' team to go ahead with the release.

The movie's teaser has already gained huge response. Directed by newcomer Arun Gopi, the movie is made on a budget of Rs.14 crores. It is touted as a political thriller like the actor's hugely successful 2006 movie 'Lion'.
